1st, Roath Real Food Market
From 9.30am - 1.00pm in the front car park of the MacKintosh Sports Club on the corner of Keppoch Street and Plasnewydd Place. The market will then run every Saturday from this date.
15th - 8th June, Artes Mundi
Artes Mundi supports and celebrates international contemporary art.
Every two years our programme culminates in the major Artes Mundi Exhibition in Cardiff and the awarding of the prestigious Artes Mundi Prize.
18th - 20th, RHS Spring Flower Show

2nd - 3rd, Breaking Boundaries,
The BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera are joining forces to celebrate the work of two giants of classical music, Beethoven and Bartòk, in two Breaking Boundaries concerts at St David's Hall in Cardiff on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd May, both at 7.30pm.

7th, Monster Jam
Monster Jam hits the UK for the second time as the World Famous Trucks come to the Millennium Stadium once more following the success of the first show in 2007.
12th - 14th, Great Welsh Beer and Cider Festival
CAMRA organize the Great Welsh Beer and Cider Festival which moves to its new home at the CIA. The event is the chance for fans to sample more than 150 traditional ales and more than 30 ciders. Time: June - 12: 12 - 11pm, 13 & 14: 11am - 11pm
28th, FIM British Speedway Grand Prix
The FIM British Speedway Grand Prix returns to the Millennium Stadium for the eight consecutive year.
2nd - 4th, Cardiff Castle Open-air Theatre
This year brings you an adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing.
11th - 13th, Cardiff International Food and Drink Festival

The Big Weekend got bigger… free live music stage and the UK’s largest travelling funfair around Cardiff's civic centre.

This year the festival comes to Cardiff.

Celebrate the end of summer and enjoy a weekend programme of nautical themed family entertainment.
6th, Cardiff Mardi Gras
We're now looking ahead to our 10th event on 6th September 2008 and will be updating the website shortly.
12th, Cardiff Half Marathon
The route is going to be amended and it is planned that it will take in more of the city centre and the attractions of our fair city than the previous course. The start and finish will be at Cardiff City Hall.
